This little girl came to me at age 4 after being rescued from the streets of Houston. Despite having not had an easy start – mast cell cancer and heartworm positive – she came to me full of fun and happiness. We often called her WinWin – partly because we realized it was a win-win situation for us both. She was sweet and gentle with the new grandbabies as she met them. Winnie learned to play with toys from being with my daughter’s chocolate lab and she loved her walks and all the smells she discovered! But mostly, she loved being loved and would paw your hand to continue petting if you happened to stop. We had 5.5 wonderful years together before she made the journey over the Rainbow Bridge on Jan 5 2022. Rest well my sweet Winifred Penelope Diva poodle.
